The Chief Medical Director University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Uyo, Prof. EmemAbasi Bassey has commended effort of staff in the department of physiotherapy UUTH. He made the commendation during a courtesy call on him for members of the National Executive Council of Physiotherapists.
The National President of the council Dr. Nnena Chigabo expressed gratitude for the support given to staff of the department. She implored the CMD to establish more specialized units and employ new hands in the department to cater for patients’ needs.
The chairperson of the council in Akwa Ibom State Tega Edidiong, commended Dr. Bassey and management for developmental studies in the hospital towards effective health care delivery in the state.
The team accompanied by Head of Department of Physiotherapy University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Uyo, Dr. Bolanle Nottidge.
