Few days after Dr. Emem A, Bassey assumed office as Chief Medical Director, the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital has taken a new look.
A tour around the hospital premises reveals a significant change from what it used to be.
The buildings are glittering and beaming a new look as the structures are being retouched, while the power supply has also improved, as many sections of the hospital are enjoying constant power supply.
In his short period in the saddle, Dr. Bassey’s tenure has witnessed a tremendous change as the potholes that usually welcome both patients and visitors to the hospital are being filled and the roads tarred, giving hope for a better future.
Consequently, the hospital community is ready to work with the new helmsman towards achieving the goals and objectives of the institution.
