The University of Uyo Teaching Hospital and the Niger Delta University are building up relationship to boost productivity in the two Institutions. This was made known when the Governing Council of the Niger Delta University recently visited the Teaching Hospital. According to the Leader of the visiting team, Professor K.K. Immanagha the visit will enhance good working relationship between both institutions. Professor Immanagha, who is also the Provost, College of Health Sciences of the Niger Delta University explained that the visit afforded them the opportunity to inspect the hospital’s facilities, interact with the authorities with a view to achieving better working relationship The Chief Medical Director, of the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Professor Etete Peters, said the coming of the team was a good opportunity for him because it would provide a platform for exchange of ideas that will be beneficial to both Institutions. Professor Immanagha was accompanied during the visit by Professor Timothy Ebidy and Egumu as well as Mr. Titus.
